November 2020 Covid-19 Clinic Protocols and Rules.
Now into the UK's 2nd lockdown we will REMAIN OPEN. We have plenty of safety procedures in place so, if you feel safe enough to venture out then we are here for you.
We currently do not have anywhere for you to wait if you are early for your appointment to ensure that you have as little contact as possible with anyone else. Therefore we ask that you only come for the appointment time given to you - That you wait in the car if this is how you arrived until such time. We also ask that you leave coats and bags in the car - again to ensure less cross contamination. If you have come my public transport or are dropped off you may be asked to wait outside until we are ready for you.
No waiting room available. If you are early, please wait in your car or outside clinic until your scheduled time.
Face masks are MANDATORY as soon as you enter the building.
Anyone who cannot wear a mask will be asked to reschedule at a later date once clinic rules are relaxed.
Your temperature will be taken on arrival by reception staff whilst they stand behind a glass screen.
If you have a temperature you will be asked to reschedule your appointment 14 days later.
We are not able to accept anyone for treatment if they have been abroad within the last 14 days.
By entering our building you agree that you will use hand sanitiser to clean your hands on arrival and leaving.
By entering our building you are agreeing to the following statements:
I am not currently positive for COVID-19
I am not waiting for the results of a laboratory test for COVID-19
I have not returned home from abroad, whether by car, air, sea, bus or train in the past 14 days. Regardless of whether it is on the governments “safe country list”.
I have not been identified as a contact of someone who has test positive for COVID-19 or been asked to self-isolate by any government agency.
I am NOT presenting with any of the following symptoms of COVID-19:
New, persistant cough
Shortness of breath
Loss of smell or taste
I will immediately notify the clinic if I contract the virus within two weeks following my visit.
These are unprecedented times are we are fully aware of how difficult things are.
These rules are in place to protect you, us, our staff and families. We know you will understand these decisions have not been made lightly .
